Version 1.2 · June 2026
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern every quotation and engagement with Ekaiva Architects. They are read alongside our Warranty Policy.
1.Design & Revisions
Estimates follow the approved design and are revised if the design changes. Revisions are welcome through the 3D stage; one revision after final renders is complimentary, further revisions ₹5,000 each. A "revision" is defined as a minor aesthetic, material, or internal layout adjustment. Major structural changes, wall partition relocations, or complete room redesigns post-3D sign-off constitute a change of scope and will be estimated separately. Renders cover up to 3 views per room; additional views ₹2,000 each. All designs, drawings and renders remain the intellectual property of Ekaiva Architects and may not be reused or shared without our written consent. Measurements are approximate until on-site assessment; final site measurements govern, and a variation of up to ~10% may adjust the cost.
2.Scope & Pricing
This quotation covers only the items listed. Anything beyond is estimated separately before work begins. Appliances and their installation are not within our scope, and supervision or monitoring of third-party appliance installation is outside our purview. Material selection is subject to availability; we propose an equal-or-better alternative if anything is unavailable. This quotation is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
3.Timeline, Payment & Delays
Project timelines are committed individually for each project, based on its design and scope, and are confirmed with you before execution begins — subject to site readiness and timely approvals. The agreed timeline pauses during delays caused by pending client material selections, lack of site accessibility, or overdue payment milestones. Warranty and complimentary services activate only on full settlement of dues per the agreed schedule. The final settlement is due within 7 days of intimation; delay incurs a demurrage of ₹10,000 per month (pro-rata), with material held at the client's cost.
4.Site Readiness & Utilities
The client must ensure the site is accessible and provide free, continuous access to basic utilities (electricity, running water, and a working washroom) during the execution phase. Delays in execution caused by the unavailability of these utilities will automatically pause the project timeline.
5.Cancellation & Refunds
Once the booking advance is paid, it is non-refundable. If the project is cancelled by the client after design commencement but prior to production, the client will be billed for the design hours and resources utilised up to that point. For orders cancelled after production or material procurement has begun, the client is liable for the full actual cost of all material procured and labour committed up to that point.
6.Workmanship, Quality & Tolerances
Remedy is repair-first; replacement only if repair is infeasible, with a comparable item not exceeding the original line value. Accepted tolerances: a scratch must be visible from 3 feet under normal ambient lighting to qualify; shutter bow within 3mm is in-spec; 10–15% laminate shade variation between batches is permissible. We are not liable for damage when other vendors work on site simultaneously with our team. Compelling us to omit quality checks voids warranty on the affected units.
7.Warranty
Modular woodwork carries the warranty set out in our Warranty Policy (v1.2). Civil and site works carry no warranty.
8.Handover & Acceptance
The client inspects and signs off at handover; non-manufacturing issues identified after handover are not claimable.
9.Media & Privacy
Ekaiva Architects reserves the right to photograph the completed project for its portfolio and marketing materials. The client's identity, exact address, and sensitive personal items will never be published. If the client wishes to opt out of project photography, they must notify the firm in writing prior to project handover.
10.Force Majeure
Ekaiva Architects shall not be held liable for any delays, damages, or failure in performance resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, severe supply chain disruptions, strikes, public health emergencies, or government-imposed lockdowns.
11.General & Acceptance
Only written commitments are binding; verbal assurances are not. This quotation is accepted when you confirm by email to hello@ekaivaarchitects.com, or on payment of the booking advance — whichever is earlier — which constitutes acceptance of this quotation and of these Terms and the Warranty Policy, forming a binding agreement. Governed by the laws of India; jurisdiction Hyderabad, Telangana.
Terms & Conditions v1.2, June 2026. Ekaiva Architects reserves the right to amend these terms; the version applicable to a project is the one current at the date of that quotation.
